Recent tariff developments, summary of new tariffs since February 1, 2025, and considerations for importers

The Trump administration announced modifications to previous “reciprocal tariffs,” including rate increases, delayed effective dates, and exemptions. This alert summarizes those modifications and provides a summary of all new tariffs introduced by the Trump administration since February 1, 2025, retaliatory tariffs announced by other countries as of April 14, 2025, and important considerations for US multinational importers.
